baumer
Why GA like Transformers so much and why they don't care about Jeagers & Kaiyus ? Is it the design ? Or because TF come from real life cars. Because of the animated 80's series and toys. Megan fox ? I wanna hear your theories. All of the above....plus Michael Bay's style...imo.

Cochofles
Paprika says hi.And there are several other sources out there that Nolan ‘homaged'; there's even a website that points them out and traces the similarities between Inception and those sources. Of course, since the online anti-Cameron sentiment is much bigger than the anti-Nolan sentiment, everyone accused JC and Avatar of plagiarism, while very few people seemed to notice Nolan's “inspirations.” Edited July 18, 2013 by cochofles

RichWS
I think that's a good number for Turbo. Was expecting it to make 4.5-5M yesterday.
druv10
lol RIPD hasn't even come out yet. How can it already be a flop? You must be new to BO forums. Here if we dislike something it's a flop no matter what.

Harpospoke
RR talk....I like him a lot. LOVED him in Just Friends and Buried. I'll watch those two again any time. He's a polar opposite character in them too and pulls it off great. I still hope he makes the Deadpool movie.
grey ghost
TF trailer = something totally new and exciting PR trailer = Battleshit 2.0 I bet that was what GA though. Also Optimus Prime has always been a pop culture icon for generation X. People can knock the toy-connection if they want but Optimus Prime helped the Transformers movie open much bigger than Pacific Rim could. I have a feeling Seann Willaim Scott would be a better Deadpool than Van Wilder but I'm in the minority.

A Marvel Fanboy
TF has been done before. Even makes TF (2007) something newer and more exciting to GA. PR was something new. Even makes PR looks more generic to GA.

Hangover 3 recouped its budget with domestic alone. Disappointment, yes, but still a bonafide financial success.
