RichWS
The average audience for Blue Jasmine is probably 30 years older than the average Twihard. Seeing Midnight in Paris at the Angelika on opening night was so cool. It was such a fun mix of NYU students and old folk.
grim22
Grown Ups 2 passes the 100M mark. Ray Subers @raysubers51m Adam Sandler now has 14 $100 million movies, which is one more than Will Smith but one fewer than Tom Cruise. CJohn
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=84353 A 55M Opening seems pretty paltry and 30M less than ORIGINS and that is pretty disappointing, especially when compared to how TA opened to 207M OW.. Ouch.. Stop being ridiculous. Every movie pales in comparison to the massive Avengers OW so don't bring it up when there is no need. Wolverine was never going to happen with 100M, let alone 200M.
theultimatebiu
I kinda agree that wolverine has been milked way too much. I honestly think they need to reassess the x-men franchise and where they want to take it in the future.

CJohn
Then maybe it's time to cal it a day with the WOLVERINE character when he's not able to achieve that number anymore due to oversaturation of the character??? I mean, that is why FOX is making DOTF is to try and renew interest in the X-MEN franchise since TA has pretty well stole it's thunder.. What number? 100M? WTF?!
CJohn
What can I say?? FOX has milked this character to the very end and that's why there making DOTF is to renew interest and try to achieve big numbers again, maybe not like TA, but more than what it made in the 90's... That makes no sense. Are you high or something? A Wolverine movie never did 100M OW. Origins did 85M. And this Wolverine always looked like a smaller movie. BadDevil
O.M.G! MOS drops have been horrendous, good god, what a disappointing run. Wolvie did alright I suppose, it's OS numbers are gonna save it. Conjuring had an impressive hold, and MU doen't look like it's gonna come close to 300m despite looking it would before DM2 steam rolled over it, competition can be a b*tch. It's ridiculous. Including this weekend, 17 new wide releases in MoS 6 weeks. After the 2nd weekend, it lost 1K - 1.2K theaters every weekend except this weekend. Where it lost 550+ theaters. Shitty scheduling on WBs part.
