Come on now, every 190m tentpole is not designed to make 700-800m ww .

The 500ww figure guarantees a sequel so they made some good money with the film.

That doesn’t include marketing, or the original budget that was estimated to be over 200 million.

Paramount didn’t make a huge profit on WWZ plain and simple. It’s a success, enough for a sequel, but it’s nothing special as far as box office goes.

Good for it though, I guess.

I read somewhere that Uni was expected to make 75-100 mill on tv licens alone after its World Wide Zucces

Uni? You mean Universal? WWZ was paramount.

Okay! From my perspective it wasn’t that super successful, especially given how much they spent on it.

The thing nobody wants to admit on this board is that we don't know.

We are just bo and movie fans behind computers but we don't have access to any official or raw data.

Only Paramount senior accountant knows how much money they will make with WWZ and that s it.

We just speculate with incomplete information.

I remember a Lionsgate executive saying they only made 30% of the money they were going to make with the first Huner Games and he was saying that after the movie's release in theaters.

Theatrical Revenue = 20-25% of total revenue on average. Between 20 and 25, one of them is the DOM avg and one is the WW avg. I can't remember which is which. I believe 20 is DOM and 25 is WW.
