Pretty agree. That is a very probable prediction. I am curious about Japan run with the change of release date (same than LOTR's movies), but I do not think it will change too much relative to AUJ gross.

Why? You got some problem with Frozen?

& the most overrated movie of 2013 award goes to

Imo ofc

I feel like Japan will be more or less as AUJ for some reason

Just hope it doesnt decrease

that would mean DM2 will be #3 of 2013 ... DoS #4 ...

IM3 1.215B

Frzoen 1B

DM2 965m

DoS 958m

Unless Japan likes DoS better than AUJ.

Or it breaks out in a big way in China, ie.

$60-$70M (!)

Looking at your figures up there, all DoS

needs is another $10M to beat DM2.

Difficult. It seems DOS release date in China is worse than AUJ's, which already was awful.

So it ends up that AUJ ranked #4 WW in 2012, 2013 but #2 in 2014 (possibly).

nah that frozen bs will end up above AUJ methinks

DIE :P

Freeze :P

Frozen will be well above DoS ww looking at this point.

I was naive & hoping maybe it wil not do well everywhere but ofc it does  :D

oh well just like Tony got over being beaten by Katnip I'll get over Smaugy being beaten by animations as well  B)

I'll actually be nominating Dos for the most disappointing run in Boffies

THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG: $585M Overseas Total / $869.7M Global Total #TheHobbit

That seems like a decent jump from last weekend, is that good/expected? Especially considered still not opened in China and Japan.

worldwide total should be 833m. AS for the overseas gross, it is expected. Nothing bad or good. Hopefully it can reach 600m without China and Japan
