I take a small bit of umbrage with this. When Bolt runs a 9.6 in the 100 meter dash, we all expect him to do that. Does that it make it any less amazing? Just because you expect the numbers to increase internationally, doesn't make it any less amazing or impressive.

Just woke up. I see it was able to get over 70 million after all. Nice recovery. Think my prediction was in the high 70's but still a good number for Katniss.

I had it at $380-$390M. So I wouldn't find $370M to be disappointing at all.

 

Like we talked about a week or so back. Once a film hits $400M domestic, there's really nowhere else to go but down. The projections thinking it would match if not exceed The Hunger Games stateside were never realistic. Let alone sane.
