Rudolf
HTTYD was not very successful in Europe. You do not have to compare it to ultrasucceful sequels to see that. For instance it made $15m in Germany in 2010. The first Ice Age made $34m there in 2002 (the thrird one $82m). (but DM to DM2 grew 40% in Germany) HTTYD made $25m in SK and $5.5m in Japan. The sequel won't go Bananas there. I don't understand why people ignore the problems of a hero with a missing limb in a childrens movie. Kalel009Shel
600 million OS. Should be big. Could be much bigger than that too my Archer commando. .... Im going with 630M OS if good ..And it could easily explode riding the Frozen hiarchy and get into the 700+M OS range as well. Lowest I think is 540M OS. Well in all fairness Avatar I boasts the greatest CGI animation/ realism technology known to man, and its hero being a parapledgic didnt hurt its box office one bit. Juggernaut 2009 was a film for everyone.

Juggernaut 2009 was a film for everyone. Avatar was not a childrens movie. In the relevant scenes Jack had 2 legs. Hiccup will always have 1 leg. Ash Skywalker
Avatar was not a childrens movie. In the relevant scenes Jack had 2 legs. Hiccup will always have 1 leg. clearly that one leg with toothless another leg is enough to sweep the box-office

keysersoze123
Any early overseas numbers? Russia is looking at 12-13M. Disappointing after kinemetro predicting 16M. its not going to hit ice age or madagascar numbers.
