Benjamin Button definitely deserved it's award. My hate of the film is well documented here but the effects work on Pitt is top notch. What about Guardians for combining both of them Actually like Life of Pi they didn't use motion capture for Rocket and Groot, only stand ins so had to fully animate their movements, which is impressive I wonder what's more difficult, Space shots or these fully animated animals. I was also referring to Guardians which had green screen space shots.
