.I still have to see the best versions of A2. Indeed dailies and going into the  third weekend and 4th holds will tell the tale of  where it's going.

 

I still think brother Bruce from my showing and the feedback of others, that ticket buys will be constant and we may see a mega run yet. Still feeling a 6x  multi or better.

Same fans took avatar to a 10x multiplier. There are far more premium theaters to show A2 than A1. I think repeat business will push past 6x. We will see. Ive heard Avatar couldn't do this and that vs a huge Alvin and Sherlock Holmes.

 

Again this is a james cameron film not your typical  one watch and forget tentpoles. I'm betting millions of folks are going to want to experience it twice or more. The out of this world experience better than a ride is what folks want. You dont get that from Maverick, NWH or any Sws film. And thats the A card.

Also again why are folks forgetting 220 + m tickets sold domestically between Titanic and Avatar on the domestic front and over 70m copies on home video between them. Thats alot of folks who will show up but waiting until their formats are avail or to avoid the crowds. Older generations dont rush out for films.

I watched this with friends and literally none of them noticed the frame rate changes. I really don't get it. The 24 fps stuff just looked so janky compared to 48. Wish the whole thing was hfr.

Doesnt need a huge weekend. How.about strong days and consistent big weekends. This is a must see event movie. You keep forgetting avatar didnt open huge either and faced Alvin a monster hit and Sherlock Holmes and others. Another scenario is weekend 2 barely drops from weekend 1. The same with weekend 3 and 4 and strong dailies.

Sorry Mr Wang , Noctis,  Marvel/Dc,  but I Feel Cameron will defy your worst case scenarios brothers.

 

 

The rules simply don't apply to his films. PS. Verrows Always remember that James Cameron films never needed huge weekends to get domestic and WW crowns. Its about consistent big Legs.

 

Avatar 2 just needs solid  weekends with some nice dailies. I'm still feeling the titans and pandorians are going to be coming out but on a slower pace than we thought. Just wait. Something special is going on with Way of the Water.

Same I think its a slower but efficent staying power right to domination domestically. I mean your seeing reports of constant walking and we are.way ahead of Avatar.

Avatar 2 over everything this year by a large margin. Domestically and OS will not be denied.

I won’t be able to see this until Tuesday, so all I can say is that I hope it does for me what TGM did for all those boomers.

My initial reaction after my dolby 3d showing is that this is much better than the first Avatar. Much better story and action, and the under-water scenes make this movie really stand out. This is truly the type of film that is meant to be seen in a movie theater.

I Feel the ticket buyers coming brother Walt.

My 2d Crowd reaction was crazy. I can imagine WOM for the 4dx and Imax Laser HR showings.

My goodness. I still Like Avatar just a tad more, but Avatar 2 is right there with it and Jim's best sequel yet up there with his T2.

 

An Absolute  Masterpiece. Can't wait for a  4dx trip back.👍🏋‍♀️
