Biggestgeekever
Spider-Man only lists! Excellent idea, Shawn. 1. Spider-Man 2: B+ 2. Spider-Man: B- 3. TASM: C 4. TASM 2: D 5. Spider-Man 3: F I think the only series in the last two decades that comes close to the drop-off in quality from SM2 to 3 is Men in Black.
a2k
Fuck lists (no offense). Superman is the king of them all. Has the joy, wonder and awe one has when thinking of a superhero. No other filmmaker has driven this genre to such a believable reality nor actor made you think such a character could exist. that's what they need to bring back

filmnerdjamie
All pre-2000 superhero movies are far too cheesy for me. Except for Blade, which kicks all kinds of ass. All about perception. No such thoughts of cheese when Superman (and Superman II) opened to such huge business. People kept going back to see it for a reason.

Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted May 3, 2014 Founder / Operator Share Posted May 3, 2014 Seeing news on the web they cancelled sinister six or rumoured to have cancelled it. When you spend so much on a tentpole and your looking to end up in th black with your top dog franchise at the BO.. I agree spin offs dont look likely indeed Shawn. Wow you liked TASM2 over SM3 Shawn :'( ... Oh no dont say that...... (Sneaks into Shawns room and steals his SM merit badge lol) GRRR To be fair, it's not a big gap and I tend to change my mind upon repeat viewings. But aside from the other flaws of the movie, I really dug Peter's relationships in TASM2--more than his in SM3. That's a big factor for me. Fuck lists (no offense). Superman is the king of them all. Has the joy, wonder and awe one has when thinking of a superhero. No other filmmaker has driven this genre to such a believable reality nor actor made you think such a character could exist. Disagree slightly, but I admire the passion. Top 5 superhero musical themes: 1. Superman by John Williams 2. Spider-Man by Hans Zimmer 3. Thor by Patrick Doyle 4. Superman by Hans Zimmer 5. Captain America by Alan Silvestri (I'd probably slot The Avengers in at #6. The music is the best thing about the film.) (Just the themes, mind. I'd rank the scores differently.) Oh, good one. 1. Zimmer & Howard/TDK Trilogy 2. Zimmer/MoS 3. Williams/Superman 4. Doyle/Thor 5. (tie) Silvestri/Avengers 6. (tie) Silvestri/CA1 Spider-Man only lists! Excellent idea, Shawn. 1. Spider-Man 2: B+ 2.
