Let's not forget JK Simmons and Michael Keaton already run away from this thing...

Haven't been keeping up on it, didn't even bother clicking on the link

JK Simmons driven away, that guy will do anything. Not the best sign

Michael Keaton did Need for Speed, Penthouse North and Post Grad!!! He isn't exactly picky either   The script of this must be amazing if they both decided to stay away from this...

Sounds like Crowe talks fizzled out quickly...I get the feeling this may be a script thing...

And sure, why not add SLJ?  This'll be his "Nick Fury" money for the year...

This is from a casting call, sequel to the 1933 film? Wtf???

"Kong: Skull Island" takes place years after the original film. In 1933, American showman Carl Denham returned from a mysterious, hidden island with a priceless treasure. A treasure not of gold or jewels, but the island's barbaric god, a monstrous anthropoid called "Kong." The savage giant escaped and wreaked havoc among the man-made canyons of Manhattan, but within hours of the giant ape's death his body, and Carl Denham, disappeared. Many years later, the son of Carl Denham makes a shocking discovery that leads him back to the site of his father's greatest adventure and to the answers that will unlock the century's greatest mystery and history's greatest miracle.

just watched Kong 2 nights ago. The 3 t-Rex fight is fucking awesome and so is the bug scene but they really needed to trim 15 minutes out of the first act and tighten up the New York stuff another 10.

Not liking the idea of a sequel though

I guess it doesn't matter if it is a sequel to the original or the remake. Either way it seems like a dumb idea. But to remake it again would be stupid as well.
