Excellent re-cap! Well close enough anyway, lol. I got all kind of stuff wrong except for year.

And yeah what's up with Sony. Is there some internal event going on that we don't know about?

HIFR $515,425 -18.8%

I like Mary Pickford, she's got moxie and star power but the Chaplin guy's Tramp shtick is going to wear thin soon.  t he'll probably have more staying power than Paramount Pictures.

That 3,300 movie seat palace will be the wave of the future - no one will ever settle for sitting in a couple hundred seat box again!

Yea I wonder if sound will ever be introduced in film. That would be pretty cool but nearly impossible.

i think it's possible. a stretch definitely. imaging if they add color too! wow, that would be the last dimension we would need.

I've seen a reel of a British documentary that just came out, that uses a brand new technique to actually capture a color image (as opposed to stenciling color onto an existing frame). It looked fantastic! I think this new technology will catch on, it's only a matter of time.

Now sound on the other hand, I have my doubts about that. Who needs to hear words being spoken? We already have excellent inter-titles and a fantastic orchestra accompanying each movie.
