SpiderByte
In fairness the first one did technically make money. It had a budget of 10 million. Edited May 22, 2014 by SpiderByte

Fancyarcher
In fairness the first one did technically make money. It had a budget of 10 million. Yeah, but it was pretty much universally reviled. Can't see a sequel doing well.

Godzilla
Yeah, but it was pretty much universally reviled. Can't see a sequel doing well. It'll make enough $$$ in Russia to cover 75% of the costs.........
Captain Craig
Wait, what? A Skyline sequel? Wasn't that the shitty Alien invasion movie set in LA where the biggest name was the cop Angel from Dexter?
stuart360
Dat ending. I'm actually glad about this as i want to know what the hell was going on with that ending. Also i don't care what the reviews say, the film wasn't THAT bad, i actually found it quite interesting seeing the chaos and destruction from a high rise apartment block. Also i call bullshit on that $10mil budget for the first film. The film was full of cgi, pretty good quality cgi as well. I bet the actual budget was closer to $30mil.
grim22
Yeah, but it was pretty much universally reviled. Can't see a sequel doing well.To be fair, I don't think even the people who went to watch Skyline remember that there was a movie called Skyline.
spazz91
just read the summary on wikipedia. what. kind of strange, but since it ended in a cliffhanger I guess I'm glad they're doing a sequel.

Deathlife
I don't really rag on movies endlessly but the first Skyline was genuinely terrible. It was unpleasant and the end was horrible. Just horrible all round.I'm surprised some people want to see a sequel to it.

Except then it probably wouldn't have been greenlit for a sequel, since it made only 20 million domestically.
