Jonwo
Even though I think Venom will win OW, I wouldn't be too shocked if ASIB manages to get to number 1 the week after although it does depend on where First Man lands.

LegendaryBen
1. Venom - $30.08M It's going to drop 60%+ due to the loss of premium screens to FM, but its good WOM will prevent from a 70% drop (Fan4tastic type-drop) 2. A Star is Born - $26.26M I'm being on the safe side on this one but I wouldn't be surprised if it held better especially if its Sunday is underestimated. I've been seeing many sellouts in ATL, NYC, and LA theaters today especially the night showings. The last time I saw this happen was Crazy Rich Asians. 3. First Man - $22.01M The breakout of the new releases this past weekend could hurt it, but the marketing is really good for it. I wouldn't be surprised if it opened much higher. Plus, it has all of its IMAX screens to itself for 3 weeks. 4. Goosebumps 2 - $17.56M The absence of Jack Black will hurt it but having the title Halloween in it could lure in Families for this one. 5. Smallfoot - $9.33M New family competition, but will hold better after this upcoming weekend until Grinch. 6. Bad Times - $9.31M Many other choices for adults and its marketing has been very confusing. 7. Night School - $6.17M 8. House with Clock - $4.05M 9. A Simple Favor - $2.02M 10. The Nun - $1.33M Edited October 7, 2018 by LegendaryBen

Viktor Vilotijevic
Is it just me or are we getting more push backs and switching dates than any other year, this December? Alitta pushed back to 2019, "Holmes" pushed back to Christmas day, "Second Act" pushed back to December 14th. "The Mule" and "Vice" landed wide releases. Even "Serenity" got pushed back to 2019 (I know it was October 19th originally).
Impact
This might be the 2nd year in a row where I wont see any films in September or October! Well the next film I will see-I'm not sure, maybe Ralph 2 or Fantastic Beasts 2. (Though surprisingly the Nutcracker looks good-never thought I say those words that I would want to see something titled The Nutcracker)
