Krissykins
The Hustle is hard to predict... Hot Pursuit, Life of the Party and Snatched are the comparisons considering release date (Mothers day weekend) But this is from UAR. Their only other release was a disaster, Missing Link. We don’t know if they can open a film, I wouldn’t be surprised with a mid single figures opening.

It feels like it's being dumped tbh.

filmlover
I think Mother's Day weekend will prevent Poms from sinking too low but I doubt it overperforms either. Book Club definitely had a lot more going for it.

Viktor Vilotijevic
And I can see "John Wick 3", "Avengers" and "Detective Pikachu" fighting for #1 spot next week with all three movies making around 34-38 million $.
DAJK
I'm more excited for Dog's Way Home than John Wick 3 to be completely honest, even though it'll be lucky to open to a quarter of JW's opening Wick's doing 50+ I can feel it. These movies have caught on BIG time, and it's great to see Keanu have another starring franchise this late in his career. Similarly, I don't see Dog's way Home opening under Dog's Journey; the connection to its predecessor seems enough to spark some interest at least.

It'll be interesting to see if JW3 adds another dimension to the audience for Hobbs & Shaw. If JW3 is a huge crowd pleaser you can bet more people than normal will show up in August for H&S to see Keanu kick more ass!
SpiderByte
Pikachu COULD over perform but no tracking really indicates so. If it's over Endgame this weekend it'll be by a thin margin, like 1-2 million. Edited May 7, 2019 by SpiderByte

Nah. JW3 will do 50ish I bet. Also 66 for EG is nearly impossible unless DP overperforms greatly like 80+. Otherwise 70+ Edited May 7, 2019 by cdsacken
