Possible, but that hasn't stopped them from being dead wrong in similar scenarios. Rth is much better at reading the raw data than any of the sources feeding info to the media.

It's possible. Afternoon estimates require taking the existing numbers and extrapolating evening performance using historical data and similar comps.

A lot of the last west coast shows started at close to 11PM PST, so it will take a bit for more accurate numbers.

Hopefully Rth will come by with updated numbers soon. This shit from Gitesh and Deadline rarely ends up right but they do actually end up showing the pattern the box office ended up going in after Rth's initial afternoon post. So if they are reporting lower for Interstellar chances are it trended down since Rth last updated.

how so? I think BH6 is doing fine, an improvement from Wreck-it Ralph, 

Frozen is a phenomena, no reason to expect any WDAS feature should do as good.

That's possible. But then it would mean Thurs sneaks would have been omitted from both movies.
