baumer
If The Wire isn't #1, I'm disowning this forum. What's the Wire?
peludo
What's the Wire? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wire All I can say is run to see it. It scores 79, 95, 98, 98 and 89 in Metacritic for each season. Edited November 14, 2014 by peludo
Dark Jedi Master 007
I just started to watch The Wire just to see what it's all about, and maybe add it to my list if it's good. So far I'm at episode 4, it's a pretttty slow start. Yep, it takes some time to get into it. But by episode 6 (the one actually called "The Wire,") I was hooked forever. Others took a little longer, some were hooked right away. If you aren't hooked by the end of the 1st season, then it's probably not for you.
Dark Jedi Master 007
What's the Wire? It's one of the most loved shows ever. I could spend the time explaining why, but I feel like the best thing is to just watch it when you get a chance. Some tips: 1. Be patient. There's a lot of info to digest in each episode, and sometimes, you will be confused, don't worry so much about that. Also, it does take a while for it to get going (for me, it took till episode 6; for others, it took longer). 2. If you still don't like it at the end of the 1st season, then maybe you should let it go and come back to it at some other point.
4815162342
What's the Wire? A crime show on HBO set in Baltimore and centered on the city's problems with the drug trade. The first season starts very slow and deliberate, but if you can get through the first half of the season you'll be in good shape to like the rest of the series.

iceroll
You don't all have to make lists with 100 shows haha, but if say you really liked a few more shows than those on the list then feel free to just add them to the list.

You don't have to have watched the entire show to include it in your list.

Wrath
So, would I list all the "Real Housewives" shows individually or is it better to just lump them together?
Kevin Bacon
So, would I list all the "Real Housewives" shows individually or is it better to just lump them together? It's better to give yourself a transorbital lobotomy so you can forget ever seeing them.
iceroll
So, would I list all the "Real Housewives" shows individually or is it better to just lump them together? Hm, I'd say separately. They run as independent shows. And judging other member's personal choices is really not necessary or welcomed in my thread. People are free to like whatever they want, and this is an honest representation of the forum's tastes in television.
