Rudolf
Gravity second monday was a holiday I know, therefore about one third.
TalismanRing
Gravity second monday was a holiday Yes, but it was making more on it's second Thur than Interstellar just made yesterday. And more on it's 3rd Friday than Int on it's second. It had monster legs. http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=daily&id=gravity.htm
teardropmina
In Summer when I asked, why should IS make significantly more than Gravity, I was told, because it is Nolan. Well it is making significantly lesss than Gravity. OS might be a different story, but probably because of the actors and not because of the director. yeah, I know, those Nolanites. now the Dom is done, we'll see whether their OS/WW prophecy will come true (like crushing Gravity as they said).

kayumanggi
How do people round off numbers? 8.475 = 8.4? lol ED will surely love it if you change that to 8.5.

kayumanggi
I think BH6 could still win the weekend.
miketheavenger
That's pretty good #'s. Interesting since most people suspected this weekend would be relatively slow since it's sandwiched between IS/BH6 and MJ1 but it turns out to be quite good. Dingdong123
With that Friday number, BH6 is looking more likely to have a 35M weekend. Hoping for a higher number tho.
kayumanggi
BH6 could double that Friday number on Saturday. We'll see.
goldenstate5
I can see BH6 knocking down the Penguins and doing spectacular legs. Good for it. I still think D&D2 will be crushed by HB2 in Thanksgiving, but with these numbers $100 mil isn't out of the question... but I hear more mixed than positive. (even if I liked it) Interstellar is gonna cap at $175 DOM (best case scenario) at this rate, so looks like it's WW to the rescue for Nolan. cookie
I wouldn't be surprised if the weekend ended up with a photo finish between BH6 and D&D2 at this rate.

warriors1965
Is St Vincent really that good that it keeps holding on and holding on? I had heard that all the characters and their arcs were super predictable.
