lab276
More debacles like Cars 2 will cost them dearly...box office wise at least...certainly not merchandising and integrity wise. I thought that was the whole issue with Cars 2.
Jonwo
It's a good deal for Fox although I wonder if they'll be competition for release dates especially as Blue Sky are releasing Epic in May 2013, Rio 2 in April 2014 and very likely Ice Age 5 in summer 2015 especially as DWA tends to release up to three film a year. AniNate
Seems like there's room for all four of their releases next year.
Jonwo
It's not a problem at the moment as Blue Sky is currently a film a year although in the past they skipped a year before releasing another film the year after, 2013 is the first time they've not skipped a year. With Illumination, SPA and soon Paramount, there is a lot of animated films being released from the major studios, Warner Bros is the only studio that doesn't release animated films on a regular basis which is odd considering their history with the Looney Tunes.
AniNate
LOTG and Happy Feet 2 kinda killed the enthusiasm over there, I guess.Though Lego seems like the kind of bizarre, silly idea that just might work. The Futurist
So,Disney has PixarFox has Blue Sky and Dreamworks AnimationUniversal has Illumination Buff Entertainement which is french.Sony has Sony Pictures ANimationParamount worked with ILM for Rango : one shot or long term collaboration ??? And they ended their partnership with Dreamworks animationWarner has Animal Logic for Happy Feet 1 and Ga'hoole but after that, I couldn't find the CGI studio who did Happy Feet 2 ...Warner should create a CGI animation studio partnership with Weta Digital, the most advanced CGI studio in the world with ILM.Rendering ranking in CGI :1. Weta Digital2. ILM3 & 4 Tie : Pixar and Dreamworks AnimationHappy Feet and Ga'Hoole were stunning visually, the rest is far behind ... AniNate
Could've sworn Animal Logic did Happy Feet Two, but it seems it was done by Dr. D Studios, George Miller's own production company.
