MattW
My guess (very conservative) is 80+ from China between Tue and Sunday, another 10+ from other OS markets, and domestic about 188m total by this coming sunday. Total on Sept 13 should be well over 600m, probably over 620m. After that: Sept 20 - 660-680 Sept 27 - 680-710 Oct 4 - 690-
HesAPooka
Going to finish with a very good 690-700m, if it had a better release date in China it would have made more. All I know is if MI6 is even pretty good then it will be a beast. 850-900m world wide. Edited September 11, 2015 by Birnam

Moviedweeb
Still missing the $700M mark? Tom Cruise never gets a break If it can hit $150m in China, it should definitely hit $700m. Is $150m in China possible still?
keysersoze123
It's gonna beat Apes and CW with ease, next target is Fast 6 its run was good. But how on earth is it going to beat Fast 6. it will need 235m in china to beat Fast 6. I dont know it can do that much. Domestic: $238,679,850 30.3% + Foreign: $550,000,000 69.7% = Worldwide: $788,679,

I think it will make 150m unless it loses screens too fast. I think post Pixels its screen count will stabilize.
MrFanaticGuy34
How's the WOM in China for MI5? Nothing too catastrophic, i hope. Do chinese audience prefer to see more good quality-driven, smart & intellectual blockbusters? ...or the stupid shit?

They prefer more action with less complicated plot..obviously something like MI4 or Fast & Furious.
keysersoze123
China has supported all kinds of movies. Interstellar and Gravity did great there. As well as raw action movies. There is no trend. MI5 could have done 200m+(considering how huge MI4 was) but did not expand that much, May be we are starting to see the market level off.
