Jake Gittes
Bryan Cranston - Trumbo Michael Fassbender - Steve Jobs Eddie Redmayne - The Danish Girl Leonardo DiCaprio - The Revenant Jake Gyllenhaal - Southpaw / Demolition Could see Ben Foster - Icon Robert Redford - Truth Tom Courtenay - 45 Years Tom Hanks - Bridge of Spies Kurt Russell - The Hateful Eight Joaquin Phoenix - Irrational Man Joseph Gordon-Levitt - The Walk Matthew McConaughey - Sea of Trees As usual this is gonna be the most stacked one unless half of these performances fall flat on their faces. The Panda
If Bradley Cooper is considered a lead for Joy I could see it being him vs. DiCaprio on paper. My early predicts AKA blind guess Bradley Cooper for Joy Bryan Cranston for Trumbo Jake Gyllenhaal for Demolition Leonardo DiCaprio for The Revenant Tom Hanks for Bridge of Spies Edited March 7, 2015 by The Panda

Avatree
I hope Leo never wins an Oscar. The Internet would break if he did.
Intensive
I'm gonna LOL if Tom Hardy gets all the attention for the Revenant
The Futurist
If Bradley Cooper is considered a lead for Joy I could see it being him vs. DiCaprio on paper. My early predicts AKA blind guess Bradley Cooper for Joy Bryan Cranston for Trumbo Jake Gyllenhaal for Demolition Leonardo DiCaprio for The Revenant Tom Hanks for Bridge of Spies B Coop has a small part in Joy. He s competing with Adam Jones. Part is supposed to be great and super baity according to script reviews.

The Futurist
Redmayne snatching that eluding Leo s oscar with a two hit combo would be hilarious.
Avatree
I definitely think Eddie could be winning 2 years in a row. Though I'm not expecting to personally like the performance.
DAJK
I definitely think Eddie could be winning 2 years in a row. Though I'm not expecting to personally like the performance. Eddie winning 2 years in a row would make me happy, just because of how good he was in ToE. The man deserves 10 Oscars for that role IMHO. Joel M
Leo will be amazing in the Reverant. Everyone will say how the oscars are gonna stop ignoring him eventually. Then he 'll lose and there will be internet memes. And the earth keeps spinning. Also McConaughey for Sea of Trees is out. That movie got murdered by critics in Cannes a few days ago Edited May 23, 2015 by Joel M
Cmasterclay
Apparently Tom Hardy is, according to some early reports, "fucking alley" in Legend. Revenant would seem to be his best bet, especially with how load Lead Actor is already shaping up to be, but the whole twin gimmick and the very intriguing trailer gives me hope he might get some consideration for this one.
