Furious 7 Weekend Numbers: Revised Official Estimate - 146.5M (Sunday underestimated) | Official OS Estimate - 240.4M

Recommended Posts

The Variety 51-55m is an early safe bet, both matinee numbers and pre sales quite high but also have to take into account most people on holiday so higher day trade factor.

If it wasn't holiday and  the numbers were the same it would be projected to be one of the biggest OD  :P

When Vin Diesel

stomped his foot and the fucking parking lot collapsed I fucking lost it.

That was some superhero shit.

That was amazing. People were going crazy.

Vin keeps talking about it himself so it'll probably happen

The character he'd be playing doesn't talk, lol. The anti-Groot

Still, it's a nearly guaranteed money making franchise at this point. Not to mention he'd be double dipping in future Avengers films with Groot and his Inhumans character.

Basically at this point the F&F films need him more than he needs them.

That movie did 100M DOM and 200M WW. What are you talking about? He doesn't need the Furious franchise.

Having said that, I would love to see both Liam Neeson and Denzel Washington in this franchise.

Well it just seems Denzel playing a badass anti-hero, his strongest card, is starting to bring in diminishing returns.

Safe House made 126 m.

Equilizer, only 101 m.

He might have to switch things up a bit to reverse the trend.

Number 8 will still be pretty big but remember that Fast became big again when they reunited Vin and Paul with one of the worst entries in the series.

They really complimented each other really well, great, great duo.

Paul s absence will be felt by GA ...

And the ending of FF7 is so tasteful it has a real closure feeling to it.

So a moment that the internet blows way out of proportion but actually isn't thst bad?

Spielberg felt forced to excuse himself, fuck the Internet really.

If he speaks the character who doesn't talk... then he still 'speaks' with

his wife, also he uses his voice repeatedly in the source material if necessary

I think you're overestimating the MCU.

12 sellouts at my theater today.

The Indian people sure love the Fast and Furious here.

Good Friday has massively boosted the box office today here.

I wonder what would have happened if The Avengers 2 released on Good Friday

This is not a spoiler in any sense....but I will put tags around it anyway but it will do nothing to further the plot....but this here makes the scene that much more chilling:

The grave Leti and Dom visit in the beginning was re-shot following Paul Walker's death and funeral, so when they visited Letis' grave, that's actually Walker's resting place, paying homage to the late co-star.

Shit. Now I'm crying.
