I dont see it man.

Its like the 95-100 million for TA2 Friday for me it did not jive with what I was seeing.

I just dont see the business at the theaters going to be anywhere near record levels for the rest of the weekend.

I think I will just put it to that its not performing any near record heights in my area.

Unlike AOU, JW friday numbers kept going up. Also friday minus previews are higher than TA1. So demand is there. Also we had multiple theater reports across the country reporting record numbers and way better than AOU. So its doing fine.

You are in serious denial. Your theater is an exception, not the rule mate. The movie kicked some serious ass everywhere else yesterday.

I dont see why it seems no where as big as SM3, TA and TDK in terms of buzz.

Real wild card this one is, like I heard no one talking about this movie at work and none of my friends wanted to see it with me this weekend.

Strange strange weekend.

You're basing in on one market.  Why do you do that?

Universal really spared no expense with their marketing campaign.

Strange strange weekend.

Over here the buzz has been much stronger than any of those three for the past few weeks - and now that it's here, it is outgrossing them all, so that matches up just fine.

What amazes me the most is the not the opening (although it's something to behold, nonetheless) but the way Chris Pratt's career sky rocketed.

I'm happy for Pratt, he's part of two very big movies.  Most actors are lucky to get to be a part of one.
