The way things are going I can see this one not make 400M. China will probably be -140/150M alone vs TLK but it also looks like it's going to do worse - much worse even - than TLK just about everywhere. More than DOM, it looks like it is OS markets where this is collapsing and those carried this franchise.

It's too early to call, but the Verified Score for this has slowly dropped from 95% to 85%.

 

A potential B+ Cinemascore would be a disaster here.

Still fewer than 50 ratings. I wouldn't put too much stock in it just yet.

We won't get a final rating for a while, but all the signs are pointing to a at best "average" rating, when this film needed a lot better to revive a dormant franchise.

That setup at the end is never gonna get a payoff. They shouldn't have put that in the movie if they didn't had a winner.

Just got back home. As my username implies, I'm a huge fan of the series. It was my most anticipated film of the year and I wasn't disappointed. Easily the best in the series and mercifully short. I usually do a pretty good job at guessing the Cinemascore of a movie and unfortunately, I think this is getting a B+. There's a chance too that there's some Last Jedi-ish fan backlash due to the changes made to Optimus Prime's character. He is VERY different in this film. Majority minority turn out too, I'm guessing the demos are gonna look like a Fast and Furious movie. I'm frustrated because this is what the Bay films should have been but people are exhausted. I guess this franchise is gonna have to stick to animation.

I am kinda tired of the cbm stuff and I really wish to see that universe you mentioned fully realized, although I wish it was just on its own.
