I agree , all problems that happened in the JL thread were not dew DC vs Marvel. The cause was Snyder vs Whedon. Just ban the discussion about the directors since it's based on hearsay anyway. All we know is that Snyder directed the movie Whedon did the re-shoots. Who changed what or how much is all hearsay that I don't care about.

Or, and I realize how batshit crazy this is, they could ban the handful of trolls (and more importantly, not unban them) instead of coming up with increasingly byzantine rules that punish everyone else?

That's not the point. The point is that the Justice League thread was closed because of the embarrassing, immature behaviour going on in there. On BOTH sides. The mods aren't going to close the Marvel threads for no other reason than because they closed a DC thread. That eye for an eye attitude would only perpetuate this stupid Marvel vs DC online phenomenon.

So Marvel fanboy caused flame in Justice League thread and the only one punished will be DC fan...a little bit unfair

I wasn't around so I can't say for sure, but I believe the Marvel fan (iJackSparrow) was also punished.

 

But this is just it! You're still whining about it. People on the internet CARE this much and that's the root of the problem, in my mind. Like really, why do you care at this point? It's not like you're banned from the forum. You're still part of the community and have full posting privileges. It tells me your issue is simply justice for team DC.
