If it's correct for Poland that means 26th-29th is twice as weekend gross!

More than 1 mln $ awesome!

And I think most of it is from 26th maybe the same as whole weekend so about 450k $ gross

In terms of admissions it should be about 940-950k :D

It is should cross 1 mln adm on 31h with whole weekend adm at least 115k.

$95.3M global wknd for boosting ww total to $774.9M thru SUN. UK leads intl mkts by a mile w/ $64.3M. China opens this FRI.

I am thinking BOM has a triple mistake thing - for a while it had recently at dom also over several days a wrong number (but it was the 'thousands' number, so not a lot of people cared)

So maybe BOM tried to do the Mondays or.. they definitively got scrambled

In general about BOM:

they fill in, if you are in luck you see it whilst looking

then for a time certain pages are locked = you get to see the Moj 'is processing' thing to see

= adjusting of eg ww charts... it changes which part is not accessable.

Afterwards it should have the same numbers as before, but if they see there is a mistake, that use the downtime for correcting that too. Too fast... the correction is the next mistake.

$45.8m over the weekend, as per Deadline:

"eh", is all I can say about that, especially since this includes South Korea's opening weekend.

SK is not an SW country plus it runs against a local blockbuster that did within a week what SW 7 made as total

SW R1 total in SK incl Sunday 1 January 2017 = $5,569,385

In at least a few very catholic countries it seems the cinemas were not open at 1 January at all or opened very late...

In case you are interested, 1 January is a holy day to the Catholics, the ~ high day of Mary (I do not know the translation), with the obligation to go to church, much stronger than Sunday...

I'm aware of these factors, yes. Still, R1 made (almost exactly) $4m in SK over the weekend, so from weekend-to-weekend in the same markets it's $47.1m last weekend compared to $41.8m this weekend, which is an 11% drop.

That's not great. Remember that last weekend included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which arguably would have had more of an effect on the previous weekend than New Year's Eve/Day had on this weekend. If you look back, many people were expecting an increase or for it to at least stay flat this weekend.

I'm going to go and have a look at individual country data, but it seems at initial glance as though R1 may even have a job passing $500m overseas at this point.

China is yet to open so 500m

is still happening

Given $60m in China, Rogue One will need similar post-holiday legs to TFA to reach $500m overseas total. TFA had made around 76% of its total gross at this point in its run, at the end of the third weekend (i.e. it made around 32% more of what it had already made after the third weekend).

If that figure is 80% for Rogue One - if it only makes 25% more on top of what it's already made - then it won't pass $500m with a $60m China gross.
