Moderation:

You guys have all been here for awhile and you're well aware of our policy about these things. Yet, practically every day, the same sort of crap still happens. So, in addition to moving posts to the Marvel vs. DC thread (or deleting them), we're also going to start giving out warning points. If things continue to escalate, or if there are particularly egregious posts, the staff will hand out suspensions from the main forum.

Consider this an official last warning, to everyone. I don't care if you're a Marvel fan, a DC fan, whoever. Across the board: stop sniping at each other. You're all adults, or reasonably close... certainly enough to know how to treat others politely.

A $48-$50m 4-day for RA2 would be around the same as the last movie. It's not that impressive.

that was a huge opening 2 years ago and with horrible reviews, to match it with slightly shittier reviews is very impressive

Exactly. Such movies tend to drop the second time around.

Critic reviews don't really mean anything for these movies. The first one had good legs in spite of that.

Well if that's the case, isn't it impressive that such movies don't get affected at all by critic reviews and earn a lot of money? I mean, that's awesome immunity right there.
