Love also makes people do weird things. Like change the narrative of how others feel in order to fit one's agenda.

Love can't save you now Napoleon, only my new powers can do that.

Don't ever trust IMDb, especially when the voting has been up for like 4 days..... most of those votes are 10 or 1's.

I know. But my plan of getting people to talk about the user rating has worked. Just like it worked 50 pages back. And it'll probably work 50 pages from now too.

Guys it's down to a 7.6 on IMDb. That toxic WOM is happening as we speak. Bring down all your original estimates. The movie is going to crash and burn come Saturday/Sunday.

its from these pathetic haters from yesterday with the reviews from the Marvel biased critics.

Now that you say it I am sure it's not.

It truly isn't. It's just the nature of weekends like this, it's actually the reason Easter weekends aren't much disputed among blockbusters. Feel free to act like I'm offending you when I'm clearly not though.

OMG, could you please stop?! Have you even bothered to look at the International thread? This is easily clearing 400m WW over the weekend. It has absolutely 0% chance of missing 1B.

It's a worldwide release. It's bound to open big.

For the sake of a recent comparison with a similar mixed critic reception/buzz, take a look at this:

http://www.thewrap.com/amazing-spider-man-2-swoops-93-million-box-office-opening/

TASM2 netted $370m WW after its US opening. It did that with a film that was open in the os markets for 3 weeks, but still. A big worldwide opening is good, don't get me wrong. But saying that it has 0% of chances of not crossing $1b is just not true. I still insist it's easier to miss it than it is to get there.

Come on, how many trolls have rated the film 10/10, and 1/10 on IMDB without having seen it? Not to mention probably other trolls who after seeing the bad reviews had some fun.

IMDB score in a couple of months? Yeah, okay, more believable. Right now? No way to know who really saw it.

Not really difficult to pint point the trolls and erase their votes with their Ip adresses.

Finally saw it in glorious IMAX 3D.

Started off slow and I would have cut the Knightmare as it adds nothing, but once it got going boy did it get going.

Liked it a lot. Affleck was freaking awesome, Eisenberg was brilliant as well. Gadot gives us a good tease for WW and her theme music is beyond awesome. The wife liked it as well.

Great audience as well. Lots of applause at the end. Some diehards in there for sure, some people booed when the Civil War trailer started and huge applause at the Suicide Squad trailer. All other trailers were received indifferently.

Off to see it again now in IMAX 2D with my Ultimate ticket, and then will probably watch in RPX tomorrow and round it all up with a normal 2D showing on Sunday.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

I tried. I honestly tried to read through all the pages I missed in this thread. I tried REALLY hard.

I failed at 137.

As Linkin Park would say "I tried so hard, and got so far but in the end it doesn't even matter." You got through 137 pages but it doesn't matter because the next 137 pages will be the same as the first 137 pages.

So 6 and 7 rating is loving it?

I hate MJ2 with a passion and still give it a 6.

Audiences give much higher ratings then critics on all films.

What are people quick ratings on TF2 for example?

6 to 7's I imagine...

I am not ragging on BVS just saying audience score movies differently.

I think there were 10,000 10s before there were even 11,000 votes - hence the dropping from 9.7 to 7.6 in 4 days.

70680 IMDb users have given a weighted average vote of 7.6 / 10

Demographic breakdowns are shown below.

Votes  Percentage  Rating
27138 neutral.gif 38.4% 10
8745 neutral.gif 12.4% 9
10449 neutral.gif 14.8% 8
8696 neutral.gif 12.3% 7
5371 neutral.gif 7.6% 6
3055 neutral.gif 4.3% 5
1706 neutral.gif 2.4% 4
1120 neutral.gif 1.6% 3
786 neutral.gif 1.1% 2
3614 neutral.gif 5.1% 1

Arithmetic mean = 7.9.  Median = 9

Your Rating: 2

Males Aged 30-44  11245 blue.gif 7.2
Females Aged 30-44  820 red.gif 6.6
Aged 45+  1496 neutral.gif 7.0
Males Aged 45+  1338 blue.gif 6.9
Females Aged 45+  131 red.gif 7.2
IMDb staff  3 neutral.gif 4.7
Top 1000 voters  76 neutral.gif 5.1
US users  6385 neutral.gif 7.1
Non-US users  20583 neutral.gif 7.3

IMDb users  70680 neutral.gif 7.6

The only thing I take out of this is that 1) The IMDB Staff really doesn't like it  2) The majority of voters are not from the US or even Non-US.  Maybe they're aliens?
