Not to get off topic but how do you figure? It was a great movie about a true American hero. Can we not celebrate those anymore? He was the greatest sniper of all time (outside of Gears of War, where I'm the greatest sniper of all time! Lol jk). That's cool if you didn't like the movie I was just wondering if there was some other reason besides just finding it to be pro American military. I feel like there's a whole segment of liberals now who have fallen so far off the bandwagon that they don't even support our troops anymore and it has become uncool to be patriotic. I'll never understand that.

someone who goes and kills innocent people, including children, is not a hero. and a movie that glorifies this is not great, it's evil-- case in point hate crimes against muslims increased after the movie came out.

and let me also say that you know america was built off of the genocide of native americans and enslavement of africans, right? it has never been cool to be patriotic or "support our troops" who go mass murdering innocent people overseas. disclaimer i'm canadian btw

before the mods have to step in i'll just say i'm done talking about this so don't bother trying to continue the conversation

Not supporting the U.S. Military, troops, or war in general =/= falling off the bandwagon

Not a franchise until the sequels are actually released, in 20 years or so

There is a Disney park, comic book and video game as well as James Cameron's feature length film Avatar.
