I don't think this will be held against you in the long run.

Unless she's watching it because you got her the DVD/Blue Ray "BvS: Ultimate Cut" as a gift.  In which case . . . . . You're probably going to hell.  ;)

Come on @fmpro, it's only gotta make $75m more after a $45m weekend. It will make it, though probably just squeaking past it. Labor Day will be the extra help it needs to get there.

A 60% drop next weekend could happen considering how bad it is.. That would put it in danger of missing 300 mill

Anything less than Deadpool for Suicide Squad is embarrassing. Remember, the producers said SS HAD to be pg13 in order to made cash. So making less than an R rated simulaorly themed movie is humiliating.

Oh stop with your nonsense.

The whole world knows Deadpool was a freak performer.

Is it embarrassing that R rated $50m budget Deadpool made only $40m less than PG13 $250m Civil War?

@fmpro It will fall 45-50% next weekend.

As the movies goes on the drops gets smaller.This is why most professionals are still saying it's heading for 300dom and no less.

It will most likely have about 45-50mi

m-s and coming out of its 3rd weekend at 275-280.

@Krissykins It amazes me how people can't get with the fact that SS doesn't need to do Deadpool numbers.The flim just need to be profitable with a respectable overall take. Right now 300 domestic and after this weekend 300+ foreign  will be a lock.

On to the n3xt one.

That's doesn't mean it's good. Furthermore, Suicide Squad is closer to the worst than the best.

Not if you see how much the weekdays are taking away from the weekend right now as opposed to 1st week of Summer and March:

OW & 1st Weekdays:

BVS 166.0 & 43.1

CW 179.144.2

SS 133.7 & 45.3

That's why I did a 10-day to OW comparison, and SS is a bit better than CW.

44.4 would be a 67% drop for SS.

223.5 10-day cume.

10-day cume as a % of OW for CBMs 2016 [with final multiplier] :

DP - 179% (132.4 ow =>236.9 10-day) [2.74x]

APOC - 178% (65.8 ow =>117 10-day) [2.36x]

SS - 167% (133.7 ow =>223.5 10-day) [?]

CW - 165% (179.1 ow =>296 10-day) [2.28x]

BVS - 159% (166 ow =>260.4 10-day) [1.99x]

I like how the % and Multiplier for the other 4 CBMs are in the same order, though DP multiplier is an outlier in how much higher it is.

As SS is close to CW and just a little higher, a 2.3x multiplier seems like a good bet, which would give it 307.5M DOM.

I have been tracking since the beginning of BOM and i'm not saying that im a professional but 99/100 my predictions are just as good or better than those so called "professional" who do this for a living..

Im going out on a lim and say "No way in hell it falls under 50% next weekend". Im going with closer to 60%...

This stinker will get no repeat buisness at all

No but that's because CW opened $50M higher so I'd hope it would make more. SS and DP opened roughly the same. So it'll be interesting to see where SS ends up relative to DP.

But I don't get the original comparison that was made or why it was made.

Uhhh - Somtimes it's better not to say anything at all, then say something that is utterly shit.

I'M pretty sure you know more about this Boxoffice than I do but for some reason you wanna act dumb to the fact that it's weekdays was strong which took away from its second weekend.        All movies have softer drops weekends #3 there's no way in hell SS falls 60% in its 3rd weekend.

I really wish this site was more of unbiased then "Oh I hated the flim it needs to fail".

CONJ2 vs ANNABELLE is a great example of how weekdays can make a difference.

After an OW only 3.4M higher than ANNABELLE's, CONJ2 had smaller 2nd and 3rd weekends than ANNABELLE.

Despite that CONJ2 had widened the lead to 13M after 3 weekends.

Like batman vs superman the films reckoning came on its 2nd Friday.

It will drop 65% as expected after such a large opening as the film plays to the base as unlike other films the word of mouth is bad likely turning off previously interested audiences.

Yea other comic book films fell alot but for a first film in a series it's a bad drop.
