I'm surprised at its amazing Saturday jumps. Trolls and Doctor Strange are off to solid starts overseas, and should do solid results here on Friday. The flops were Brothers Grimsby, Pride & Prejudice, Ghostbusters, Mag 7, and Inferno now. They have Billy Lynn and Passengers to bring in solid results for the holiday season. Who knows how Billy Lynn is going to do really. It's not getting great buzz and its genre will turn off a lot of moviegoers. Passengers will do Interstellar numbers at its very best given that it's a week after Rogue One. The prestige space films of the past few years had no competition in the sci-fi realm while Passengers does. MGM provided most of the budget for Mag 7. It shouldn't be a big money loser, at least not to Sony. Inferno will make up its disappointing domestic run with good overseas numbers. I lost count of how many times my tablet crashed trying to load a page because of it (and I had just moved to my new apartment and hadn't had my PC set up yet so the tablet was all I had).
