I really want this for Christmas 2024. It could really be another No Way Home, on a smaller scale. Christmas 2024 needs a big blockbuster, 2023 is looking weak if Aquaman 2 bombs.

That would be wise. I agree. May / July / December should always be the premier dates for bigger releases.

I can see Disney being hesitant to hedge their holiday 2024 earnings on an R-rated movie and opting for May 2025. That option can also help if The Marvels ends up being a John Carter-level disaster, as the extra distance from that potential stench can soften the blow. But in all honesty December of next year is the most realistic scenario.

47?! I wanna look this good at that age.

What did you say? Oh, just be rich? OK then....

Trust me, it’s not just be rich. That helps, sure, but also good genes. There isn’t really a lot of Ryan Reynolds and Paul Rudds in Hollywood either.

Lol why the hell would they delay it almost an entire year

It’s not going to do well if they put it in the holidays. This is not a holiday franchise, you need some level of family appeal to pull huge numbers there. Go ahead, put it there though. It’s their funeral . And lol at 2 months later in Feb being any longer anyways lmao.

The strike forces them to. It is only half done filming. Most recent MCU movies have at least 300-400 days between the end of filming and release.

Except they've been able to do post on everything they've already shot during the strike. A late 2024 release is absolutely possible.

So apparently when a deal gets made the plan is to shoot in January? Idk why the logistics keep them from just picking up where they left off but that does mean the delay is likely further back into the summer than just swapping with Cap 4. So that in the summer and this towards it's original November slot seems likely.

So the title is definitely some combination of the words Deadpool and Wolverine.

I am already looking forward to people saying variations of  “why couldn’t it be named Deadpool 3, don’t they know this will affect its BO?” and “why are they stealing the movie from Deadpool??”

Joy.

This and marvels are not remotely in the same boat. Not happening.

The whole " why are they stealing  the movie from her " is dumb but still

Marvels as  title is just bland and doesn't really incite anything in the GA who already didn't care much about CM  .

If there was a trend to be expected ,we have seen on any of the  other MCU movies . The title complaint came specifically for this movie.

Deadpool is miles popular than CM . Naming change won't do shit to it.
