So very close to 400 mil o.s after this weekend ?

Assuming it continues falling 55% over the weekdays as well as the weekend it will get to 367m by end of coming Sunday. And if it continues to do 55% fall from there it will do about 410-415 OS total.

I have a hard time see the film only doing 50mil more afterwards but we will have to see where it is in the coming weeks.

Yeah, even going more optimistic, thinking 425-430 os and 240-245 dom for 665-675 ww.

(can't see how it gets 700 ww or even 690)

240domestic and it will only need 460 overseas.

I think the film may pull it off.

Following this Box Office run is like following the rest of the NY Giants' season.

The season is already over, it's only a mere formality and a bit of curiosity whether they win another game or not (and whether JL finishes with $665 or $690).

At least there's always next season for the Giants.:hahaha::hahaha:

Less than the WW of the 3rd Thor movie?

Less than the 5th Pirates of Caribbean movie?

Less than the 8th Fast & Furious movie?

To be fair, only 2 out of 17 marvel movies made more than the 8th Fast and Furious film too, lol.

However Marvel has the potential to have many films in the future above Fast 8, where as DC will never have one. Even one billion seems like a pipe dream for DCEU at the moment.

And the other Avengers films that follow. Possibly a number of un-announced project in the 20 film line up after A4. If the Fox-Disney deal happens than there another huge pool of potential there.

EDIT: anyway this is not thread to discuss it so end convo here.

DCEU movies are struggling to even pass the billion mark. Seems like BvS will be their high water mark in terms of box office, unless Wonder Woman 2 overperforms and surpass it, which I doubt because a week after WW2 is Bond 25, and Frozen 2 is in the same month as well, and not to forget Star Wars IX. I think Bond 25 and Frozen 2 will be very huge internationally so they will cut into WW2's international legs.

You never know. There is the so-called "Avengers effect". Iron Man 3 experienced that, that's why it grossed $1.2 billion. In 2019, Spiderman: Homecoming 2 (don't know the real title) is the first MCU title after Avengers 4. It might experience an "Avengers effect" because people will be curious what's next. I won't rule out a billion for that next Spidey film.

If they won't kill all main cast - may be. Without Stark, Captain, Hulk, etc.  I really doubt.

Spiderman is more popular SH ever. His worst result in history> JL box-office. It seems like Civil War (Avengers 2.5) should say thanks to him, than he should.

Spiderman doesn't need "post-Avengers effect".
