Guys, guys, guys!

Moana made $13,507,512 on Sunday, a 36.7% drop from Saturday. That's amazing! All other comparable movies had bigger Sunday drops:

The Good Dinosaur: 38.8% drop

Penguins of Madagascar: 42.7% drop

Frozen: 40% drop

Rise of the Guardians: 41.1% drop

Not to mention the mere 2.1% Saturday drop from Friday. :shades:

During school today, SOOO many people said they wanted to see the film after hearing how good it was because people thought the trailers and teasers looked too kiddy.  The people who did see it compared it to Zootopia and Frozen, saying "Not as good as Zootopia or Frozen, but definitely good on its own."  People also liked "You're Welcome" much better than "How Far I'll Go," and said the best part of the film was the climax to resolution and said it was the most beautiful animated film they've seen.  My friends are already inviting me to go see it again this Saturday.

At the time, I thought "How Far I'll Go" was the big song of the movie, but "You're Welcome" has actually stuck with me more.
