Welp, no choice but to hire Gunn back.

Seems like the whole cast has decided to back Gunn. Interesting to see what happens from here. And I’m not just talking about the re-hiring of Gunn but rather how the dynamic is going to be with a new director given that the cast supports Gunn so much.

Huh, even got Bradley and Vin. That’s a stronger statement than I was expecting.      

 

I imagine a lot now comes down to how Feige and even more importantly Iger feel about the situation.

They should just keep him on as exec producer or something as a consolation. Rehiring him as director at this point would make Disney look like a bunch of weak fools and give everyone whiplash lol.

They already look like fools, and it’s been over 10 days. If they release a statement now to the effect of “we’re trying to formulate a clear policy for firings over social media statement, and in the process may re-examine some recent examples” and then rehire in a month that would hardly cause whiplash (not  a prediction, just a possibility).

I heard him on an Howard Stern interview briefly talk about how he earned around 10 bucks for his voice work on the first Guardians.
