Why are you guys predicting such huge Saturday bumps for BatB? 65% would be absolutely crazy. I can't see much more than 50% tbh.

Because it had a huge Sat last week and it's having huge Sat all over the world (check the international section).

It's playing very much like a family movie.

55-65% for a family movie on a saturday in march is kinda typical.

I guess Life won't get good word of mouth, because of 2 things:

Deadpool dies first.

That shitty ending ( I actually read on wikipedia ). I guess the cliffhanger won't be solved.

They should have made it a Venom prequel. They even got stock footage from a freaking Spider Man movie.

The stock footage is not used in the movie.

Imo, Life looks like a straight to DVD movie.

Imo your your opinion is silly.

I honestly don't think Life would've done well even had it stayed in May. It's a splatterfest with a big name cast, and the ending is bound to piss off a lot of people.

It would have done even worse being so close to Alien.

Maybe Sony can lend some of the box office money that The Shallows did to Life  so Life won't be seen as that much of a bomb. I'm sure Blake Lively wouldn't mind helping her husband's box office numbers

I think The Shallows and Don't Breathe already used up their money helping my lovely Ghostbusters.

Because regardless of the ending or the plot, the effects in the movie are really good and should be seen in theaters. Not everyone wants to just watch super hero movies and Disney movies in theaters.

Then again. Maybe they do.

I saw a TV spot the other day that says Reynolds "steals the show" or something like that.

Spoiler

He dies about 30 minutes into the movie lol.

Spoiler

That's a testament to the movie's pacing. It feels like that happens about 10 minutes earlier.
