After two years arguing about this, I think we finally can affirm that F7 exploded because of Paul Walker, right? Or does people still believe that it was a "natural expansion"? lol.

Of course but F7 was gonna hit billion whether Paul was dead or alive. It made more than it expected (1.5 billion)because of his death.

Yes because they exploited  his death. Also remember the whole "See You Again" song? Pure Walkerploitation

F7 dropped 10% on Sat (46.6) from True Friday (~51.6) and dropped 29% on Sunday.

If this one does 34.6 on True Friday (for 45 OD) and using 28% for Sunday,

10.4 + 34.6 + 31.1 (-10%) + 22.4 (-28%) = 98.5 OW

But that Sat and Sun drop is both on the optimistic side.

It could be closer to F6's 97.3 OW imo, probably a bit under.

225-230 dom is more likely for F8 compared to the 239 of F6 if both have the same OW.

It will be the 3rd movie after POTC 4 and TF4 to cross 1b WW with less than 250 Dom.

4: awsome

5: sucks ball

6: pretty dope

7: decent movie with great PW tribute

marketing for this one has really worked for me and F Gary Gray is the best director the franchise has ever used

This seems realistic except for one thing. The 28% hold on Sunday was actually way better than normal for Easter Sunday thanks to the unexpected breakout. A normal Easter Sunday drop would be more like 40%

Yes. As openers drop lesser than non-openers on Sunday a low 30% drop (BVS dropped 33%) could happen.
