This is a small thing but I find it interesting that Paramount hasn't uploaded it to their youtube, only Apple. Wonder if they asked for exclusivity or something? Feels like that's gonna hurt the total views considering Apple has comments turned off for everything (cowards)

I have doubts about Oppenheimer's chances, not due to quality, but due to the Academy trending away from epic historical films towards smaller modern films. Assuming they're great, would be nice to see the Academy embrace epics like that one and this movie again though.

It's more likely that it will because they are not going to repeat EEAAO with the next year winner. Every winner is a reaction to the previous one so I don't expect another genre movie to win in 2024 despite my Barbie/DUNC II bias.

I'm hyped for this. The changes from the book have me confident that Scorsese has done this right.
