Have we ever before gotten any information about an African market, apart from South Africa? Has anyone any idea what East and West Africa mean? (which countries?) Sam
Worst case scenario IMO is: Dom: 200M 3-day OW with typical average MCU solo legs of 2.7 gives it 540M OS: keeping the same Dom/OS split of Panther first weekend throughout the run; then 540M Dom gives 383M OS (which is like a totally impossible number with that 169M opening but let’s just stick with it as hypothetical for now) That is already a WW total of ~925. So year, 1B WW is looking really unbelievably good.
KP1025
It should challenge Civil War WW total.
grey ghost
I'm fairly confident in 1.2 billion. It could beat Iron Man 3 (1.212 ) to become the biggest MCU solo movie which is no small task. Juby
In Poland, Black Panther have solid start ("good" for comic book/ superhero movie). 133 000 admission estimated during the weekend, around 190 000 since February 14th. But the hype is small and this Friday probably the most anticipated Polish movie of the year will destroy BP legs. I think it will do BvS numbers here (max. $2,5 mln).
