Will it go up or down from $55M tomorrow? What do you guys think?

  • Bulgaria
  • Spain
  • India
  • Iceland

  • Romania

I think the Friday openings and the increases from Thursday in its Wednesday openers will offset the drop from its Thursday openers, so probably a slight increase? At least $60M, I would say...

AUS 31+32= $63 mil

FRA 34+12=$46 mil

GER 31+15=$46 mil

UK 76+15=$91 mil

INDIA 16+15=$31 mil

RUS 34+5=$40 mil

BRAZIL 47.8+15=$64 mil

 

are these on the cards ?

 

 

No idea about Australia (doubling it seems a bit to much) or Russia, Brazil and India.

But at least France the Uk and Germany should be possible. 

As $46M (in germany) mean €38M and that would be roughly 3.3M admissions coming from a hopefully 1.1M admissions first weekend that would be a 3x and that should be possible.

I think those you marked bold will be the one that lead to it increasing.

Yup its equal to Indian biggies and OD is highest for a hollywood movie by a very good margin.

I think have a chance to reach 16M

Avengers - Infinity War Tears The Indian Box Office Apart

 

Avengers - Infinity War has taken the highest opening day for a Hollywood release by a margin which was always a certainty and has also taken the highest opening day of the year beating the 25 crore nett of Baaghi 2. The early estimate for the film is around 28-29 crore nett but it could touch 30 crore nett depending on the final figures in the morning from South and Mumbai.

 

 

There has been no Hollywood film that has even reached 15 crore nett before this film so its almost double their best in India. The collections have also come on just 2000 screens whereas films like Baaghi 2 and Padmaavat were released on 3500 screens.

 

 

Despite the 2000 screens, the capacity was built at especially at multiplexes with ATP's (Average Ticket Prices which were 30% higher than Baaghi 2.

Yes no doubt in that. Looks like South and Mumbai 2 major regions for english movies had the potential to grow even more than current level based on which OD figure couldn't be ascertained. 

 

16m means 100cr+ gross in local currency.
