If OS-China total was at 789.3M after Thur, and now 859M, then that’s a 70M weekend. Where the missing 10M go? I know there are territories that Thu got rolled into the weekend, but that’s still quite a difference.

Yeah, the weekend is apparently at $281.3M Friday to Sunday, which would put the total at $1,070.6M OS (using Thursday's $789.3M), $870.6M OS-China. Maybe it will change with actuals? A gap that big is pretty crazy.

Not quite... as a general rule of thumb, half of the Thurs gross gets included in the weekend.

But the last two weekends, there wasn’t any discrepancy when adding the reported weekend number to total up to the corresponding Thu.

Yet it’s a big difference this weekend.

Edit: never mind lol.

Furthermore, a 70M weekend is -56% from last weekend. That doesn’t sound right.

I’m a bit confused, @Rthanos, some clarifications would be greatly appreciated lol.

Yes, there was. Last weekend, it was ~$13M between them

Ok, that would mean $8.7M taken away from that which puts it at $1,062.3M OS and $861.9M OS-China

The daily estimates OS are very crude and get revised. If Gross till Thursday was reported as 789m, then it very well could have been 787m or 791m.

Super conservatives prediction:

+ 100M more dom

+100m more from China

+110m more OS

=

1916B 😯

That's redefining conservatism. :P

I'm thinking

DOM 110M

OS-CHN 140M

CHN 145M

2000-2002M

There was? Lol, see, this is why OS reporting always confuse me.

Still a great numbers regardless, and would put 1B OS-China completely within reach, so that’s great.

Thanks for the correction.

My prediction is SUPER CONSERVATIVE

i think 1.9b is the floor now

The “realistic” scenario:

140M more from Dom

125-140m more from China

+115M more OS

1985b - +2.05b
