I am interested in how The Black Panther will do overseas.

I think using the highest grossing super hero movie of all time, "Marvel's The Avengers" is a good guide to chart The Black Panther's progress.

Here are the top 33 foreign opening weekends for the Avengers. These are all of the countries where the Avengers earned 1 million or more at the box office opening weekend. China is not listed because The Avengers opened in China at a later date.  In the list below, the first number is the Avengers Box office opening weekend number. The second number is the Black Panther's box office total. Countries in bold are where the Black Panther had a stronger opening weekend than Marvel's The Avengers.

The numbers are from Box Office Mojo.

That’s way more than I though Death Wish would make TBH!

is Death Wish really going to do that well?  is this movie-pass related?  All of these regular adult action/thriller movies that were supposedly fading to netflix are suddenly hitting well at the box office....  Den of Thieves tripled my prediction.... This means the adult action films from 1990-2005 might be back!!!  Maybe Geostorm could have doubled OW?  Hurricane Heist 20m OW?

So far this year is doing significantly better and it all started right around November with Murder on the Orient Express and Daddy's Home 2.  However, it looks like movie-pass did not help influence Just Getting Started, Father FIgures, or Downsizing.  Movie-pass is just a guess as to why movies are doing better.  Also, the uptick might just be because people want to go to the movies more.   http://www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/chart/?yr=2018&view=releasedate&view2=domestic&sort=opengross&order=DESC&&p=.htm

^^ Fifty Shades, Game Night, 12 Strong, Den of Thieves, The Commuter, 15:17 to Paris, Annihilation, Winchester and Forever My Girl all seemed to do well on the high end so far....  up next is Red Sparrow, Death Wish, and Hurricane Heist.

Yeah, I'm not sure anything could have helped those films...I mean, you have to not to be horrible for Movie Pass to help you (and Sinemia, the "other white meat" option now that seems to be getting traction if MoviePass is suing it, although funny enough, it's again an "outside" option)...aka, you have to provide a passable movie-going experience, not an agonizing one!

Sparrow has consistently been on Pulse since last night whereas Death Wish only appeared this morning.

Fair to assume Death Wish will be more walk in heavy too ? less seat designed screening ? Is Imax screen on pulse ? A bit older crowd, etc...

Thoroughbreds is opening near me next week, so I'm guessing Focus is opening it in 600-700 theaters? Only one theater in Orlando has tickets on sale right now. @filmlover what it's looking like by you?

It's opening at quite a few theaters around me. Not that I expect it to do particularly well.
