Fine fine fine lol

Either way, I don't see $50m OD for FFH or anywhere near $500m DOM. One thing to keep in mind about its OD is most adults still aren't off of work in relation to the 4th. I'm seeing it on the 3rd for just that reason. Overall though, I'm currently thinking something like...

7/2 = $39m
7/3 = $33m

7/4 = $28m

7/5 = $35m

7/6 = $41m

7/7 = $30m

Got OD almost exactly. I don't think the holds will be as rosy as I predicted, though.

Well Charlie's estimate was super early so I wouldn't kill your estimate for today just yet

33m is sub 10% drop minus midnights. That is impossible. Already Charlie said PS below half of yesterday and early shows I tracked till now have dropped quite a bit. If anything Charlie is slightly optimistic again.

Same for early shows but in my area night shows are stronger than yesterday. Idk if that's true everywhere though.

FWIW, when I saw FFH last night I tried to pay attention to audience reaction to the trailers we got.

The only one that got a pretty positive reaction was Ford v Ferrari.

H&S and OUATIH both got little to no reaction. Terminator didn't really get any reaction either.

Midway was another one we got previews for. No reaction to that either though it looked much better on the big screen than on Youtube.

We also got 21 Bridges and that got a little positive reaction.

all of the trailers were the first time I had gotten them in theaters.

at NYC most night shows sold out. It in fact lost a screen at Empire 25 today. So no way its doing better at night.

I seldom post in this thread. I like to read what’s posted though. You guys do a fantastic job. I don’t know how FFH will do today, but I am surprised at how much lower it looks on presales. Just eyeballing it, yesterday there were tons of sell outs, especially in the late afternoon/early evening. Today, it is almost wide open. However, I know that the film is doing well. Tuesday record!!! Today is a huge travel day, so keep that in mind. Since it is really the only new show in town this weekend, I would expect it to recover by Friday and really pick up on Marvel Saturday. And as I said before, it is a really good movie. That should help its legs a lot.

No Jumanji or Charlie's Angels trailer?

Ford v Ferrari looks like an old-fashioned underdog story, which usually turns out to be a crowd pleaser.

Potentially, hard to say how July 4th holiday will affect walkups. I will say the signs are good though as Day 3 should be less presale heavy than Day 2, so Day 3 running ahead in presales is excellent, and at least on Pulse Friday and Saturday always looked super strong compared to Thurs before it went down. As long as it doesn't drop huge today TFSS should be strong.

My morning Cinemark numbers should be pretty indicative. Today they were very closely aligned with Charlie's.

This would make sense if you think people are going to go out to see a movie early in the day before spending the evening with family doing the bbq and fireworks thing.

If the viewings tomorrow skew early that could lower the final total as it would mean skewing to lower cost early shows than higher price evening shows.

My family's plan is to see an early show of TS4 tomorrow. it will actually be the first time my entire family goes to see a movie all together.

(alot of that is due to my wife recovering from breast cancer surgery). After the show we are going to have dinner and see fireworks.

26 would be a  decent drop ?
