I would be a little hesitant to pull the "would have done in normal times" card simply coz I don't think we can discount the idea that a year and two-thirds worth of pent up angst in society is driving at least some of the excitement surrounding this flick.

 

Just as there are folks staying away coz of COVID, there are also folks who are excited to be Part Of An Event after such a long stretch of misery.
