So I wake up and the first thing I see when I visit you Youtube is Kristen Wiig AS Cheetah?

 

I knew that Jessica Chastain as Beverly would be the only fan casting that would come true. Many people including me wanted Charlize Theron for the role.

 

Not gonna lie the casting is really surprising and may not be many of us imagined BUT we knew very damn well by now to not judge casting before we see the final product. I trust Patty Jenkins and her vision.

That is exactly what I thought!

I am seeing lots of complaints on the net about Wiig not being "a good fit because she is a comedian"..

When did the whole thing about comedians not being able to be good at drama start?

There was a lot of fan outrage when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman. Easy to forget that before Batman Keaton was pretty much regarded as a comic actor.

Considering the villain in her last movie was rubbish, I wouldn’t go that far.

The best way to handle it would have been to introduce and develop Cheetah as a human ally in the second WW while having Circe as a villain, and only then use Cheetah as the villain for the third WW movie.
