John Harris
So does WW have a shot at overtaking GOTG2's DOM total? I don't think so, but it seems possible...?

DMan7
Over 40M+ 3rd weekend inbound. Looks like a certain club might have a chance at being successful.
Cochofles
Is this a good drop? How do third Thursdays usually go for superhero movies in June? I am very curious about this, obviously, and since there is almost no precedent for the type of film Wonder Woman is, I'm lost here...

It puts a 40M weekend in the cards

MikeQ
Projecting the weekend using estimated $6.03 million Thursday: FRI: $9.9 million (+65%) SAT: $14.3 million (+45%) SUN: $12.9 million (-10%) -------- WEEKEND TOTAL: $37.1 million (-36.6%) I don't personally feel $40 million is in store, but I'm happy to be proven wrong, and I think anything $35+ million would be terrific! WrathOfHan
I highly doubt WW will hit 380-385M. The July releases will prevent that from happening.
raegr
a chance, yes. though not a good one (it's looking better and better by the day though) Imagine if the top 2 CBMs of the year are both DC movies!Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

Not only is it only down 5% after three movies opened wide last night's for previews but it's only down 34% from last Thursday. This is just a straight-up juggernaut. I think 350 is locked and at this point 400 would seriously not surprise me.
