Nobody cares about the other Queen members, lol.

They're shooting themselves in the foot.

They should've done a full blown Freddie Mercury biopic and when the movie breaks out, enjoy the huge royalties from the score/soundtrack.

Instead it's gonna flop.

Just saw that IO fell 18.5% on Father's Day Sunday. It was the 3rd biggest drop in top 10 that Sunday.

Only Insidious 3 and Pitch Perfect 2 fell more than IO.

Why didn't IO show a great hold (compared to other movies that Sunday) even as it was eventually on it's way to an amazing run?

JW fell 2%. AOU, Fury Road and San Andreas increased: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2015-06-21&track=pixar2014.htm

Scarlett Johansson tried to do her own Devil Wears Prada with The Nanny Diaries and that didn't do too well so she's not really a draw for these type of films. Of course I am speaking too soon, we have to wait for the Friday numbers.

Personally I'm question if the film will even be released in 2018. Aside from Malek, so far nobody else has been cast.

It's not until December 2018 so they've got plenty of time to film it. Hell, they could film in January and still get release it in time,

Other poster pointed it out, ghostbusters can end up being the highest grossing comedy of both, last and this summer.:sparta:

What a horrible couple of years for comedy. Is Daddy's Home the highest grossing comedy of the past 2 years?

Hopefully The House does well so it can rejuvenate the genre.  We haven't had a good old fashioned comedy breakout since  Bad Moms.

The House ain't gonna be the one for that job lol

Why wouldn't it?  The trailers have played really well at movies, it can appeal to both male and female demographics, and it has Ferrell and Poehler headlining it.
