The RT percentage hardly matters when the Metacritic score is so high.

It does show it's a bit polarizing.  Many seem to absolutely love it but there's a group that doesn't seem to get it.

So when people dislike a nolan's film they "don't seem to get it" and none bats an eye but when some critics dislike certain movies and, after reading their reviews, some people say they may not get the movie people jump on these people defending reviewers.

Such a Nolan-friendly forum.

Whatever the record for most thread traffic ever for an OW under 50m is on this forum, Dunkirk is sure to challenge it.

Under $50m? I don't see happening. It looks stronger

What's it looking at? I haven't read any of the thread.

$50m may still be a little high, I think the average predict is probably around Interstellar OW or so (although obviously that is close to 50m). But it sounds like previews were very strong last night.

Presales too. Very strong. I believe $4m at previews will be enough for a $50m+ opening.

Aka The New York Critics who hate Nolan. One of them even said it looked like a video game despite the fact that like a lot of Nolan films, it uses a lot of real life tanks, and boats, and such. Ignorance.

What worse is that audience nowadays are sheep..They praise and/or trash a movie depending on reviews without ever seeing it just so that they can be part of the crowd.

Is this some other personality of yours manifesting itself or something?

True. Nolan and Pixar movies get away with that. If you don't like them then it implies you didn't get it/lack a higher sense. Happened with Interstellar to a good degree. As if folks who didn't like it didn't understand it's science and the tesseract-logic.

edit: btw I am a fan of both Interstellar and most of what Pixar does . But I see folks who don't like them being unfairly taken down.

This is how many seats each show has sold/the auditorium's capacity. The total aggregate is all showings and capacity combined.
