I need some help on what my next speech should be about. It's a persuasive speech, and we have free reign over what topics to pick (touchy stuff like politics and abortion are allowed). I thought about doing why homeschooling is worse than public school, but I just did a presentation on college depression. Maybe there's something film related I could do? Idk

Do what you know...it's tough to do a "this is better/worse than another" if you haven't done both sides...

 

I would encourage a film or box office related speech - it'd be something you'd know (so you'd be confident), something you like doing (so you'd work harder), and something that excites you (so you'd be more energetic in the speech)...

 

No idea what you'd want to persuade folks on - maybe the need for fan-voting for the Oscars (this is joking - really - but it could probably be a great speech:)...but I'd shoot for this type of topic...
