How does one write the BATB remake anyway?  By ctrl-a/ctrl-c'ing the original script?

And then goes this needs a little something? Oh a dumb backstory for Bell's mother is just the the thing.

So a little story, I submitted my grad school application to my #1 choice back on April 17th and it says it was received on the 25th. I needed two letters, so two references. One of them had his letter done literally the next morning. He was responsive, swift, and sent me good luck. Fast forward to today, May 7th, and my other reference still hasn't sent her letter, or has even gotten back to me for that matter.

I let her know it was coming ahead of time, sent 2 reminder alerts, and I've called. No reply, no response. It's frustrating because my application is done, has been done, I've done my part, but admissions wont actually look at it until this 1 letter is sent, which just means I have to anxiously wait even longer. I had enough and emailed another person this morning to see if they could do it instead and she literally replied while I was typing this saying that she could. I'm very relieved and should've asked her the first time, but my mistake.

I'm glad that hopefully this issue is now over, but I just have to say: recommendation letters are obviously very important to people, and can make or break an admissions decision, so you should actually be honored to be asked to do one, or you should well, do it.

I'm anxious and want to hear back already. Could have made a great Mother's Day present, but oh well. But anyway, lesson in life: don't break your promises to people. If you say you're going to do something - do it. If it turns out you can't, let that person know. Don't ever leave people hanging. Seriously, never date a person who leaves your imessages on read.

Quick question, did you have an opportunity to have any face to face contact with the person had been lollygagging?

Yep I went and saw her in person at the office and sat and explained my plans to her. She said she was on board.

I just meant following up with her in person in regards to the letter.

Oh no, because I live 4 hours away, but she still responded to my emails after that so it's not like she just totally forgot, but it is what it is. My new reference understand my urgency and is enthused to do one.

Does that translate to giving or receiving?  @CJohn  @MCKillswitch123

Well, I use Portugal's Portuguese so I'm not the best one to ask, but to my awareness, saying "Dooku" can be interpreted as "from/of the ass" (that being the literal translation of "do cu"). If that is some word people use to mention anal in Brazil.... or if it's giving or recieving if we go down that route, I dunno, I don't watch enough Brazilian porn (or anal porn either) to know

Letters of recommendation are probably going to carry a lot of weight at the more competitive schools I apply to. I'm lucky enough to have 2-3 strong connections with teachers because my extracurriculars are nonexistent.
