Yeah, Lady Bird is a good choice for sure. I still need to see it. And I'm happy it won. Especially over Get Out- which, a great film in its own right, was not a comedy in my opinion.

Lady Bird winning is not a bad choice. Get Out is the better movie but Lady Bird was probably a more appropriate winner for the category.

I agree. I wanted her character to die in the book. But in the movie, she's tolerable thanks to her performance.
